UC Extension Class on the "Power of PR"

I will be teaching a class on the Power of PR at UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley beginning on September 29 and running for seven Monday evenings until November 10.

This overview class is great for people thinking about a public relations career, those who have had PR duties thrust upon them, and those who want to get recharged and get some new ideas.

The emphasis is on publicity. We'll cover media relations (how the media works and how to work well with them), the major publicity tools (including news releases, feature stories and visuals), online communication (blogs and podcasts), the PR program (including evaluation), and much more.

This practical, interactive class runs from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at UCSC Extension in Sunnyvale (Moffett Business Park, 1180 Bordeaux Drive, 408-752-1300). The course number is 1158-014 and the $600 fee is reduced to $540 for registration through September 15.
